For a very long time only bad and negative news was emanating from Africa leading to a misconception that only evil things happen in Africa. This is very far from the truth as quite a number of great things are happening Family T.V is trying to clear this believe in people’s heads by bringing you the true picture of Africa.
Every Friday at 10.00PM, Family T.V brings Africa to your living room on one of the best programmes dubbed God in Africa that highlights positive stuff happening by focusing on NGO’s that are actually changing lives of Africans who sometimes feel that life is unfair due to the things they go through.
God uses these NGO’s to show His love to Africans by giving them hope in future and turning their lives around for the better. God in Africa is really changing lives of our viewers. Drug addicts have joined some of the rehabs aired on the show and are now trying to live their lives positively and encouraging others who maybe going through the same or even worse situations.
God in Africa is really trying to show the world that God is truly in Africa and doing wonders in people’s lives despite the bad image other media houses portray. These N.G.O’s here in Kenya are also fighting hard for the same by doing some documentaries to show yes! God is at work in Africa. Next week in God in Africa we focus on an organization called Bible Translationand Literacy (BTL). This organization has been raising funds to ensure that the unreached communities in the country who have never had a Bible written in their dialect have one and can read it. On this episode we visit the people of Marakwet who have not had a bible in their own dialect for a very long time but through Bible Translation and Literacy have something they can call their own.
