Isn't it exciting to watch something purely Kenyan, by Kenyans in Kenya? Well this weekend Family media in conjunction with Festival of Creative Arts present a Christmas Musical Bible story dubbed ‘CHRISTMAS IN NAIROBI' from 4 th -6 th December at Kenya National Theatre. Tickets go for Kshs 500 for adults and Kshs 400 for students. Advance tickets purchased by 3rd Dec go for Kshs. 400. The play kicks off on Friday 4 th at 6pm while Saturday and Sunday it starts at 3pm and 6pm.
The play is filled with surprises that will keep the audience at the edge of their seats and entertained throughout. According to the producer - Mr. Abuto Eliud the play is very relevant to our society today, although heavily influenced by the Bible, life issues such as relationships, bribery, corruption and exploitation by the political and higher social classes are featured in this musical that redefines Christmas and the usual celebrations. The play is therefore an insight into societal problems of profound cultural socioeconomic ramifications.
