NEXT WEDNESDAY ON CROSS-TALK

WATCH HELLON AS HE TELLS IT AS IT IS AT 8.00PM

ON HIS CHURCH, FAITH AND ARUNGA

Our weekly TV programme, Cross Talk – the show that focuses on current affairs from a biblical perspective – will be putting Hellon in the hot seat, on one of the coming shows; be on the lookout! Hellon is reported to claim that Benny Hinn is his spiritual father and has been receiving instructions from the renowned televangelist. On Thursday last week, Hellon and former TV news anchor Esther Arunga spoke out over the media reports and urged the public to leave them alone.

Since last week many stories have been erupting on faith and churches. The media houses have gone bonkers with the story on Joseph Hellon, Esther Arunga (former news anchor that many loved on TV), Quincy Timberlake and Benny Hinn. All these people and many more are said to be members of a church whose faith, beliefs and actions have raised eyebrows. The Finger of God Ministries International which is based in the leafy Runda suburb has, over the past week, been hitting headlines for all the wrong reasons.

Hellon has found himself in the midst of a storm, with allegations that his church has some "cult-like" practices. At a press conference he made it clear that his church has no problem with followers taking alcohol so long as they do not get drunk. According to sources conversant with the church, members are virtually separated from their families. They are also required to give a minimum of KSh2000 daily.

Cross Talk seeks to let it out from the horse's mouth. Hellon himself will be telling us what the Finger of God Ministries International is all about. Pastor Mwalili, the host, will also be having other pastors on the panel. Do not miss this eye-opening post mortem of faith and churches.

Who knows, these could be the end times predicted in the Bible; if you have been reading the papers lately there is a lot of disconcerting news on churches with questionable practices.

You watched it on TV, read it in the papers or heard it on radio or from friends; a church in Nakuru that has been fasting and praying for days in the belief that two pastors who died in a road accident will come back to life.

Like they say ‘wonders never cease!' Keep it Cross Talk where you get to hear the parties involved telling it as it is. For burning current issues, Cross Talk is the show to look out for. Tune in to Family TV every Wednesday from 8pm (repeated on Saturday at 10pm). DO NOT miss out on Hellon's story on Cross Talk!
