Philippians 3:8 : Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,
Paul met Jesus on that Damascus road and seemed to immediately fall in love with Him. As Paul got to know and grow in the Lord, he at some point considered or deemed everything in this world as refuse compared to the superiority of knowing Jesus. Paul realized early on in his walk that the "things" of this world would get in the way of his relationship with his Lord, so he counted them as rubbish that he may gain Christ. Once Paul reasoned the above in his mind, he had a part to do practically as well…..He forgot those things that were behind him…..He reached forward to the things in front of him…..He pressed on towards the prize in Christ Jesus. Remember….what we believe will determine how we behave? Blessings Today!
