Family Media is doing it again, for the first time this year – bigger and better! This Sunday (14 th February), your favourite and informative monthly health show ‘Doctors on Call', will come to you live between 4:00 and 6:00 pm. This show is a testimony that, besides nurturing you spiritually, Family Media gives you hope, encouragement and also paves your way to good health.
In an effort to cater for your health needs, Family Media has over the past few years been airing a number of health programmes. Apart from ‘Doctors on Call' which comes once a month on both Radio 316 and Family TV, there is ‘Family Doctor' that is aired every Monday at 7.30pm. ‘Doctor to Doctor' comes every Sunday at 1pm and is closely followed by ‘Alterative Health' at 1.30pm.
On ‘Doctors on Call' this Sunday, Susan Mwongeli will be co-hosting the show with a panel of specialist medical practitioners who will be fielding questions from a live audience in the studio, Family TV viewers and Radio 316 listeners. Sunday's show will focus on some of the most common diseases plaguing our society today. These include heart disease, cancer, childhood obesity and diabetes, among others.
Avail yourself of this chance and have that nagging medical question answered by an expert, free of charge. During the show you can call 020 4200 600, 020 4200 000, SMS your question to 4316 or, better still send an email right now to doc@familykenya.com.
This show has been very useful to many of our viewers and listeners who may have found it difficult to face a doctor, especially if their ailment is sexual related or regarded as a curse in the community. ‘Doctors on Call' enables such patients to get answers to their questions without fear of shame or stigmatisation.
In the meantime, remember that your health can be influenced by how you look at yourself; the type of food you take, how much you rest, etc. The current global warming, poor diet, dirty water and poor sanitation have led to an increase in many diseases and conditions that were rare or inexistent a few years ago. Cancer which is a growing health concern, was for instance, much rarer than it is today.
Family media is dedicated to giving you nothing but the best – throughout! Our programmes are meant to develop you spiritually, physically, financially and emotionally. If you would like to be part of the audience in our TV studio, kindly email your details to promotions@familykenya.com . For all your favourite programmes, keep it Family TV, the station that cares about your wellbeing.
