IS IT RIGHT?

LEAD BY EXAMLPE.
The Bible clearly condemns same sex marriages and yet some churches are encouraging this vice and even going a mile further to ordaining gays and lesbians. Leviticus 20:13 (New International Version) states:
13 " 'If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.
News making headlines in the press all over the world indicate that the Episcopal Church leaders in Los Angeles this week nominated an openly gay priest and an openly lesbian priest becoming one of the first dioceses in the national church to test a controversial new policy that lifted a de facto ban on gays and lesbians in the ordained hierarchy.
If leaders are supposed to lead by example, how will these lesbian and gay priests lead the church congregation yet the bible condemns such characters. This is truly breaking the commandments given to us by God.
Leviticus 18- 22" 'Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable.
The move follows an announcement on Saturday by the Episcopal Diocese of Minnesota of three candidates identified to become the Bishop of Minnesota, including a partnered lesbian priest in Chicago. The nominations come just weeks after the two million-member Episcopal Church, the US branch of Anglicanism, lifted a de facto ban on the consecration of gay bishops.
The dioceses are likely to further inflame theological conservatives in the U.S. church and their global partners in the Anglican Communion, who have repeatedly warned about the repercussions of such action. The two are among six nominees who will face election for two assistant bishop posts at the diocese's annual December convention in Riverside.

Shockingly the U.S. church leaders had promised to exercise restraint before consecrating additional gay bishops in the aftermath of that contentious move. But they reversed course at their convention in Anaheim last month, voting overwhelmingly to open "any ordained ministry" to gays and lesbians. They also agreed to consider rites of blessing for same-sex couples. JUST IMAGINE…
