The annual gospel awards ceremony dubbed Groove Awards is around the corner and guess what? Our very own, SHAKE on Family TV, JAM 316 – our morning Radio 316 show and its presenter MIKE-ON-THE-MIC, have all been nominated. The fate of these shows and presenter lies in your vote – it really matters! The show is aired on Wednesday at 7:30pm on Family TV and on Friday at 9.00pm on Radio 316 with your girl, Amber Slingerland. Vote! Vote! for Shake! I am sure we all believe that the show deserves the award.
Jam 316 is the all-time favourite morning show that gives you inspirational music, laughter and excitement to start off your day. Your mornings couldn't be any better with your favourite host, Mike-on-the-Mic, who accompanies you on your drive to work and gives you the best you can get, every weekday on the only station that offers the best in contemporary Christian music. Jam 316 comes every weekday from 6:30am-10:00am. A win for this show depends on your vote!
Mike Gitonga, better known as Mike-on-the-Mic (or the Deejay on Fridays), is believed to be the craziest guy on radio. Ironically, he had never dreamt of being on radio. He believes that morning radio shows are traditionally more entertainment-oriented than the programmes that come later in the day because people want to wake up to something they can enjoy, not something that puts them back to sleep. So, he entertains, enlightens and encourages his listeners. Don't you think he too deserves the award? Hand it over to him!
