A constitutional referendum is being held in Burma despite calls from the outside world for a postponement after last week's devastating cyclone. The poll comes amid mounting international criticism of Burma's military rulers for their handling of the response to the crisis as they say that they will welcome overseas aid; but not foreign relief workers. Well, many Kenyans are positive that the idea will help bring an end to a myriad of stalled investigations of scandals hence help move the nation. However, a few Kenyans feel more still needs to be done as the act is not an end in itself.

METROPOLITAN/CITY HALL
Kenyans received news of the formation of the new metropolitan Ministry with mixed reactions, saying there’s no need for it as it would duplicate the duties of city hall as well as consume unnecessary expenses. However this is not the case as many didn’t take the time or effort to really understand. Well Esther Passaris founder of the outdoor advertising firm Adopt a light begs to differ, explaining that the two would play separate major roles, but all ensuring the proper running of services in Nairobi. And on her political ambitions, she told the evening jam that she has every intention of running for the Embakasi seat and both PNU and ODM have given her the green light.
