Every year thousands of people travel to Israel. Why do they go there? What attraction does that land hold? Family Media proudly took a group of 46 people to the Holy Land of Israel for a week to discover why many visit the land. The trip according to them was worth the time and some even wished they could have the power to extend the stay. Below is a story from Family media head of T.V – Chemos. We put their experience together to produce the amazing story below.
 “The experience of the pilgrimage to the Holy Land is second to none. The feeling of walking in the footsteps of the Messiah is indescribable. The names of the sites instantly remind us of stories from the Bible: Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Nazareth, the Sea of Galilee, Jericho, Judea, Mount of Olives, Calvary, and on and on. The Bible comes alive. We walked through the pages of THE LIVING WORD!

When you get to Jerusalem and travel around you begin to notice some amazing things! Everywhere you look there is a church! Tourism has a great influence on the Israeli economy. Because of the effect of tourism it looks like most of the events in the New Testament took place in churches.  Churches were built over the areas where important events in the Bible took place.

The Church of the Holy Sepulcher commemorates the hill of crucifixion and the tomb of Christ's burial. There are so many reasons for wanting to visit the "Holy Land." While there are many marvelous sites to visit in Israel, you will not see the earthly remains of Christ, for as the angel told Mary Magdalene at His tomb, "He is not there -- for He is risen" (Matthew 28:6).

Floating on the Dead Sea was amazing and like i said the Bible came to life in Israel, Jerusalem and many other cities we visited. It was so much fun that if we put it in writing it will be in a book. We really thank TBN Family Media for making our dream come true may Almighty bless you Family and we hope to do it again” says Chemos.
