KUWA TOFAUTI: REVISED AND REFURBISHED

MORE INTERACTION, MORE ACTION

DON'T JUST WATCH, PARTICIPATE!

Your favourite local youth show, Kuwa Tofauti, has been reworked and reloaded. The show will now be done entirely inside the studio, unlike before when it was done outdoors. The programme, which is more interactive and even more dazzling than earlier projected, will go on air this Tuesday on Family TV at 7:30pm.

We will have comprehensive discussions on youth issues touching on relationships, personal decisions, careers etc. The objective is to create a platform for the youth to express themselves and be heard. There will be a segment featuring an artiste where the “artiste of the week” will have an opportunity to participate in the discussion and also have the privilege of introducing his or her latest song. The show will engage the audience more since viewers will have a chance to give their views and comments through email and sms.

Christine Muthoni, the producer, promises pleasant surprises. “I am so excited to see the show that we all have been waiting for so anxiously kick off this Tuesday. I would like to tell all Kuwa Tofauti viewers that a lot thrilling stuff awaits them. Besides inviting local artistes to grace the shows, discussions will be deeper and more interactive,” says the ever-smiling Christine.

Faith Nkatha, the host, is also upbeat about the new package. She says that the best thing about Kuwa Tofauti is that it gives young people a forum to express what they find difficult or even impossible to share with their parents. “In our society today parents have become too preoccupied with other things to find time for their teenagers. That is why we felt there was need to have a show like Kuwa Tofauti.”

Kuwa Tofauti is clearly going to be big – with all the big names in the Christian music industry. Upcoming artistes too have not been left out because at Family we recognise and appreciate new talents.  Look out for the next big show on your TV screen this coming and every Tuesday from 7:30pm to 8:00pm.
