JOIN OUR NEW HOST PAULINE
We promised you last time! Big things will be happening this year on Family Media. Well since Monday this week, a new show dubbed "316 Hits" has hit your air waves. This show is dedicated to you - you can advertise jobs for free. In addition, there are exclusive interviews, valuable information, Bible trivia etc, all brought to you by Pauline, your new and charming host. But who exactly is she and what should her listeners expect from her on the new show?
Pauline Esther Amuge, the show host can be described using lots of adjectives. But here are four that stand out: smiley, friendly, fun and gorgeous.
She developed love for radio way back as a class one pupil when she was still young and innocent. Pauline was highly inspired and driven by Bbaale Francis of UBC, one of the longest serving radio presenters in Uganda. According to Pauline, he is her icon anchor. She loved his personality and promised herself that when she grew up she wanted to be like Bbaale Francis; just like any kid, this was her childhood dream.
Her love for radio grew and she was lucky to be with people who encouraged her to dream on. One day she met Jacky Lumbasi, a Kenyan radio personality, who noticed Pauline's good voice and confidence before a crowd. And guess what? Jacky made her dream come true!
Pauline started her radio career by doing a kids' show in Uganda and she believes it was God's way of doing things. She loves kids and here she was, doing a kids' show. Radio 316 is just another dream come true. "I was nervous at first but it was a lot of fun being on air in Kenya, and not in just a radio station, but a homely station - Radio 316," she says.
"I promise my listeners nothing but the best; exclusive interviews, great music hits, a platform to be thankful and to express appreciation as well as to send shout-outs," adds the ever-smiling Pauline, who is a mother of a 11-month old baby boy.
Keep it Radio 316 to know more about Pauline and what she has in store for you. Pauline says if she was not in Radio industry she would be taking care of homeless babies.
Catch Pauline every weekday from 10am to 1pm and you will get to appreciate the uniqueness that Radio 316 has to offer.
