Radio 316 has unveiled a new show. Radio Active will, from this Friday, usher in your weekend in style. It is going to be a 2-hour show that will be hosted by the new queen of radio, Noreen Mumo . The show, just as the name suggests, is jam-packed with fantabulous music; a segment dubbed Uncut – behind-the-scenes info on artistes; Movie Buzz – letting the listener in on the Christian films being aired on Family TV; Scratch That – a segment highlighting ridiculous statements of the week (global and/or local); School of Dot – in this segment listeners will be encouraged to send in funny or crazy stories, jokes etc. This show has been divided into segments fit for listeners of all ages.

Radio active is one show you must slot into your Friday schedule – from 9pm to 11 pm. For sure, your Friday will never be the same again. Noreen is all set to help you loosen up after a tight week at work, school etc. During a recent interview, Noreen was upbeat as she articulated what her listeners should expect on Radio Active. She has fresh stuff that has never hit the airwaves before. Her diverse background makes her unique. She was born in Kenya but relocated to the United States when she was 12. She lived in America for 13 years before coming back to her motherland (don't do the maths; it will not give you her actual age.

This buoyant lady promises her listeners much more than plain entertainment. “Songs featured will be upbeat and drawn from various genres. Show segments will include personal artiste info, School of Dot, James Blonde, Scratch That. There will also be crazy, funny and sometimes outrageous bits,” says Noreen who has met renowned artistes like Mark Schultz, Family Force 5, Skillet, Jeremy Camp, Krystal Meyers, Tye Tribett, Toby Mac, RelientK, Ayeisha Woods, Grits, Spoken and many others, in concerts.
