Radio 316 has a new show dubbed Music on Request that comes every Monday to Friday from 2:00pm-4:00pm.The show features music requested by associates of a local company or organization. Alongside the playlist, a brief company/organisation profile is also given and listeners get to know the company/organisation and its employees better. Radio 316 is the first local station to offer such an opportunity free of charge. The key objective is to connect the company/organisation with listeners that are not associated with or who know little or nothing about it by presenting interesting titbits, such as life changing experiences of the employees. Noreen Mumo, the host, says Music on Request seeks to present a personable image of the highlighted company by playing interview clips of staff. Its other objective is to present Christ and the Christian message through questions answered by employees, besides playing music exclusively requested by the company. The show will start with the host by introducing the company/organisation. This will be followed by interviews featuring staff members. In between the interviews songs chosen by the organisation's staff will be played.
