There are a number of powerful and life transforming testimonies out there and looking for them can be a daunting task. Not any more, Family TV brings you some of these encouraging and life transforming testimonies every Monday at 8:00pm on God Changes People.
Through the programme, a number of lives have been transformed for the better. More people are finding a source of hope and encouragement by watching God Changes People. This is, in its self, a testimony that in deed God is visiting humanity. People have come from all sorts of unimaginable situations to glorifying the name of the Lord.
Take for example this week's testimony of Stephen Mbugua. He dropped out of school at the age of nine and acquired his first gun at the age of sixteen. Stephen was a hardcore criminal robbing people at gun point. He reiterates that 'my gun was my ATM', he would use it when he needed money, which was often. Despite all the risks he put himself in; he was never able to spend that money wisely. He would go to different towns and waste it on alcohol and women, once the money was finished; he would rob in that town to get transportation to return home. But God intervened; he is now a changed person, a Pastor reaching out to commercial sex workers, drug dealers and other thugs.
Stephen is now leading others to the Lord and encourages them with the words of Galatians 6:17 'Finally, let no one cause me trouble, for I bear on my body the marks of Jesus'.
