At Family FM, it’s all about music that you can believe in, and we surely cannot leave the classics out of this! Music that I believe was truly made from the heart – at times when machines and computers had not been made.

Composers had perpetually black fingers from dipping their hands in inkwells to pen the notes of the songs that we sing today. Others such as Beethoven lost the sense of hearing and his greatest works were done without him ever hearing them. Others suffered multiple deaths in their families, others were plagued with perpetual illness, and yet – they made what many regard as the most beautiful of music.

In the classical lounge, we enjoy the genius of men like Chopin on the piano and the magic of Mozart with his combinations of instruments – or even the religion of Handel intertwined in the music. Every Sunday from 10am to 12pm and Wednesday from 10pm to 12am, we enter into the unexplored world of this musical men and few women who dared to leave the norms of their day and excel.
