Many of us hate the long queues at the banks especially when you are in a hurry or sometime you want to deposit some cash but can’t after working hours. Thanks to the growth in technology we can now send money anytime, anywhere using our mobile phones. Family media is also growing with the technology too, making it easier for you, our partner or a friend of Family to send your financial support.
Many people who walk to our offices always ask questions like “How are you able to financially maintain such high quality service organization?” Our answer –YOU- the supporter! Like we have said in the past media is really expensive and Family is not exceptional having in mind that it runs 24hours on both radio and TV.
It always amazes me how Christians expect their Pastor, Local Church or Christian ministries to do the work of the ministry with no finances. When someone says they live by faith believing God to supply their needs, somehow in the minds of Christians they are now exempt from supporting the work of God with their substance.
In our own situation we have rentals to pay for our offices, we have to pay the staff who work for us, the vehicles used to do the work of the ministry need fuel in their tanks and their engines need to be serviced regularly. We have office equipment that need maintenance, stationery needs to be printed, etc. None of the above will be possible if we did not have finances. It costs money to preach the Gospel, even though the Gospel itself is free.
