DO YOU DEAL IN ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENTS?

st

Family Media is calling on you....

As we continue making our 10th birthday celebrations memorable to everyone, we at Family Media  want to ensure that we are represented in all parts of Kenya by being accessible to many more potential viewers and listeners as we lead the way by going for National media coverage via satellite in areas outside our normal transmission coverage. To do this, we are sourcing for businesses that deal with electronic equipments to sell our satellite dishes and receivers.

If you think you are the one we are looking for or you have any references in  towns like Kisumu, Nyeri, Kisii, Kericho, Eldama Ravine, Iten, Kitale, Meru, Nanyuki, Taita, Busia, Isebania, Namanga, etc. We would like to get in touch with you to offer the satellites at wholesale prices to make them affordable to our potential viewers and listeners. WAYS TO STAY STRONG IN YOUR CHRISTIAN FAITH

Prayer Journey

Sometimes you doubt your faith. Sometimes just finding five minutes for God seems like just another chore. God knows that sometimes Christians struggle in their faith. Sometimes devotions do not really seem like devotion, but work. Sometimes Christians wonder if God is even there. Here are some ways to keep your faith strong even when you feel a bit weak.

hope
  • Remember that God is Always There
Even in the driest times, when you just don’t feel God’s presence, you need to remember that God is always there. He does not forget you. True faith is developed even when you don’t feel God.
Deuteronomy 31:6 - “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you”
devotion
  • DO A DAILY DEVOTIONAL
Developing long-term habits is important to maintaining your faith. A daily devotional will keep you in the Word and enhance your prayer life. It will also keep you closer to God even when you struggle in your faith.Philippians 2:12-13 – “Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose.”
getin
  • GET INVOLVED
Many people become apathetic over time, because they do not feel connected to a church body. Some churches do not offer ways to connect. Yet, there are a lot of activities on campuses and in the community. You can even look into other ministries. The more connected you are to the body of Christ; the more likely it is that you will maintain your faith. Romans 12:5 – “so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.”
talk
  • Talk to Someone
If you feel separated from God or you find yourself backsliding, talk to someone. Try talking to your mentor, a pastor, or even your parents. Talk through your issues and pray with them about your struggles. They can offer insight into how they have worked through their own struggles.

Colossians 3:16 – “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God”

FEEDBACK

f

Chichi Solitei: Family Partner
Family has been such a blessing to me and my family. I have been supporting Family for the last six years and I have seen the fruits of sowing on this fertile ground .I quit my job in 1991 but one day I was listening to Paula White as she spoke about the benefits of seeding Psalms 6:19 and I told God no matter my situation I will support Family .It has been long coming but I am amazed by God’s goodness. I am happy to know that whatever I give it helps Family media reach millions at the comfort of their homes where pastors cannot reach. I would like to encourage those out there to partner with Family and they will be surprised.”

ENCOURAGEMENT FOR THE WEEK

‘’Though an army may encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war may rise against me, in this I will be confident. For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; in the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock. I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Wait on the LORD; be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the LORD!”
Psalm 27:3, 5, 13-14

ON A LIGHT NOTE

"The Rev. Billy Graham tells of a time early in his career when he arrived in a small town to preach a sermon. Wanting to mail a letter, he asked a young boy where the post office was.

When the boy told him, Rev. Graham thanked him and said, “If you’ll come to the Baptist church this evening, you can hear me telling everyone how to get to Heaven.”

“I don’t think I’ll be there,” the boy said. “You don’t even know your way to the post office.”

18 CHARACTERISTICS OF CHRISTIAN LOVE

7. Love is not selfseeking

There are those in this world who are always thinking of what life owes them and there are those who never forget what they owe to life. Most of our problems which surround us today could be avoided if we would think less of our rights and more of our duties. Whenever we start thinking about "ourselves" and "our place" we are drifting away from Christian love.

Next week: “Love is not easily angered .

PARTING SHOT

“Never undertake anything for which you wouldn't have the courage to ask the blessings of heaven.”
