NAKURU FAMILY IN ACTION”-LUNCHEON
Happy 10th anniversary ....
Ten years ago, in the month of July, we pioneered Christian broadcasting in Kenya by launching the first Christian Radio and T.V stations in the country (Family TV and Family FM). According to Leo, the founder and the vision bearer of Family Media,10 years is a long time and the best way to have the greatest celebration of your life is by giving your heart to Jesus and asking Him to forgive you all the wrongs you have done and starting a new life. That is the celebration we are looking forward to!!!!!
“Though July 1999 was a great moment, I was wondering how long we would stay on air with a mere KSh30,000 left in our account. But we had a contract with our heavenly father by the authority of His son – “with my authority, take this message of repentance to all the Nations beginning in Jerusalem: “There is forgiveness of sins for all who turn to me.” With this authority from Jesus Himself I was sure that we were going to make it. But how many times have you led yourself without consulting Him and when things are bad that’s when you remember “oh!! God.” Peter had to change his attitude and humble before God. His is a story of selfishness and pride which many of us suffer from but don’t like to admit. Some of us want to be good than our friends but we end up being jealous of their achievements which turns up to be a blessing to them.

Between year 2004-2005 I lost both of my parents and my siblings, it was one of those moments when I thought my life was coming to an end I even went for counselling but I realised I never got the healing that Family T.V gave me through encouragements .I had sleepless nights which were made shorter through sermons from the likes of Joel Osteen, TD Jakes and many more .I would love to see more programmes on family issues and the youth even on the Family note for Family Media is our only hope. 10.Love does not delight in evil
Better to translate this that love finds no pleasure in anything that is wrong. It is not so much delight in doing the wrong thing that is meant, as the pleasure which comes to most of us when we hear something derogatory about someone else. It is one of the traits of human nature that we prefer to hear of the misfortune of others rather than of their good fortune. It is much easier to weep with them than to rejoice with those who rejoice. Christian love finds no pleasure in bad reports.
