But then again, maybe you do remember your first pair of shoes; because shoes for you were a luxury that you could not afford after struggling to meet the other needs of life.

For many people today this is the reality they live in everyday as they go about their daily lives. They cannot afford a decent pair of shoe while many of us have more than 2, 3, 4 or even 10 pairs of shoes.

Shoes mean dignity, yet poor people often lack shoes because they simply cannot afford them.

This Christmas, The Friendship Company and Tune Inn in conjunction with Family Media are giving you the chance to bring dignity into someone's life

The Christmas Shoes campaign is about BRAND new shoes

Many poor people would ordinarily not buy a new pair of shoe, that’s why we want you to buy them what might probably be their first ever pair of new shoe they own. We're asking you to buy a pair of brand new shoes, they could be any kind of shoes but they should be the kind you would buy for yourself or loved one.

Once you buy your pair of brand new shoes, deposit them at the Tune Inn Music Store Yaya center in Nairobi, Scripture Union shops in Eldoret, Nakuru and Kisumu or the BSK (Ukumbusho) Bookshop in Mombasa and we will make sure that a needy person gets a pair of shoes this Christmas

Remember they could be adult sizes or kids sizes. You may want to buy, sandals, running shoes, pumps or canvas shoes, whatever suits your taste or style but please make sure you buy them with a needy person in mind.

Wouldn't it be wonderful way if many got to experience Christ’s love through by simply receiving a much needed pair of shoes?
